Warranty Information Limited Hardware Warranty and Out-Of-Warranty Repairs 1. LIMITED HARDWARE WARRANTY. ISE FLEET SERVICES (“ISE
FS”) WARRANTS TO THE PARTY PURCHASING AN A317 DISPLAY UNIT (A “PRODUCT”)
THROUGH THIS WEBSITE (“YOU” OR “YOUR”) THAT THE PRODUCT IS FREE
FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING, UNDER NORMAL USE, FOR A PERIOD OF TWELVE
(12) MONTHS FROM DATE OF SHIPMENT TO CUSTOMER. AS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY FOR A FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS WARRANTY, MICRONET INC (THE “MANUFACTURER”)
WILL, AT ITS OPTION, EITHER REPAIR THE PRODUCT OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT WITH THE
SAME PRODUCT OR A SUBSTANTIALLY SIMILAR PRODUCT IN ALL MATERIAL RESPECTS. THIS
WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY OTHER DEVICES OR ACCESSORIES SOLD BY ISE FS.
THIS WARRANTY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE AND WILL NOT APPLY TO A SUBSEQUENT PURCHASER
OF THE PRODUCT.
YOU MUST CONTACT ISE FS SUPPORT TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER
WARRANTY. IF A PRODUCT IS FOUND
NON-WORKABLE AFTER ISE FS SUPPORT CONDUCTS TROUBLESHOOTING, THE MANUFACTURER
WILL ISSUE AN RMA NUMBER TO YOU AND PROVIDE A RETURN SHIPPING LABEL FOR YOUR
USE. THE MANUFACTUER WILL NOT ACCEPT WARRANTY RETURNS OF PRODUCT THAT ARE NOT
SECURELY PACKAGED AND DO NOT HAVE THE RMA NUMBER ON THE PACKAGING. COMPLETED
REPAIRS ARE RETURNED TO YOU VIA GROUND SHIPPING SERVICE AT MANUFACTURER’S
EXPENSE.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOIDED BY ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: I. ANY MODIFICATION OR ATTEMPTED MODIFICATION OF THE PRODUCT BY
ANYONE OTHER THAN AN AUTHORIZED ISE FS OR MICRONET INC REPRESENTATIVE; II. THE POWER SUPPLIED TO THE PRODUCT EXCEEDS THE STATED TOLERANCE,
OR IF THE PRODUCT IS OPERATED IN ENVIRONMENTS EXCEEDING THE PRODUCT’S STATED
TOLERANCE FOR TEMPERATURE, HUMIDITY, MOISTURE, RADIATION OR ELECTROMAGNETIC
FIELDS; III. ANY ABUSE, NEGLIGENT HANDLING OR
MISAPPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT; OR IV. ANY ALTERATION, REMOVAL OR OBSTRUCTION OF THE SERIAL NUMBER.
THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES: I. PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING
SCRATCHES OR CRACKS ON THE TOUCHSCREEN OR OUTSIDE CASE; II. NORMAL WEAR ITEMS, INCLUDING FUSES AND BATTERIES; III. DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE DEVICE OR SYSTEM TO
WHICH THE PRODUCT IS CONNECTED; IV. DAMAGE CAUSED BY USE BY CUSTOMER FOR WHICH IT WAS NOT DESIGNED;
AND V. DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCT BY ANY PERSON OR
PARTY OTHER THAN YOU.
2. OUT OF WARRANTY REPAIRS. NON-WARRANTY
REPAIR PROCESS: You must contact ISE FS support to initiate a non-warranty repair
request. The Manufacturer will issue an
RMA number to you and provide return shipping information. Products not under
warranty must be sent to the Manufacturer for repair shipping prepaid by you. The
Manufacturer will not accept Product submitted for repair that are not securely
packaged, are delivered COD, or do not have the RMA number on the return
packaging. The Manufacturer will perform
a complete diagnostic (see charges below), provide a repair estimate to you,
and at your direction either repair the Product or return it unrepaired. Repair
of the Product will begin only after payment terms are approved by you and the
Manufacturer. The Manufacturer will invoice you for all applicable repair fees
including diagnostic, parts, labor, and return shipping charges. If after 45
days there is no response from the customer to the repair estimate, the Product
will be returned to customer unrepaired.
NON-WARRANTY
DIAGNOSTIC CHARGES: The Manufacturer charges a $62.50 Diagnostic Fee for all non-warranty
Product repair requests, including Products returned for warranty repair that
are found to be out of warranty or not covered by the product warranty and Products
returned for repairs for which no problem is found or for which problems are
found but the customer requests the Product be scrapped rather than repaired. If
a repair fee is charged to you as set forth above, no separate Diagnostic Fee
will be charged. |
